Vernal Theatre: LIVE is available for rent as a community performance space. We have hosted pageants, music and dance recitals, presentations, comedy groups and more.

Vernal Theatre: LIVE offers an opportunity for performers to be on a stage in an intimate venue designed to help showcase their abilities. We are affordable and provide in-house assistance to make your event the best it can be.

Growth is measured by seeing continued expansion of our programs. We love to see a variety of participants
both on the stage and in the audience. We desire to attract professionals who are interested in helping facilitate a
creative learning environment where participants and patrons grow in the Arts.

Rental Contract

The rental contract for Vernal Theatre: LIVE can be received by emailing vernaltheatre@gmail.com.

All contracts must be filled out and submitted with the required deposit no less than two weeks before your desired event date. Please note that due to yearly theatrical performances, some dates may be unavailable. Booking in advance is crucial to secure dates for your event.

Vernal Theatre: LIVE is a family-friendly venue and all productions, performances, and rentals agree upon signing the contract to uphold this level of performance. 

 

Theatre & Stage Information

Vernal Theatre: LIVE is located at 40 East Main Street in Vernal, Utah.

Parking is available on Main Street (north side of the theatre) and in the public parking lot (south side of the theatre). 

Access for audience is the main doors on the north side of the theatre facing Main Street. Performers load in through the double-wide back doors into the dressing rooms on the south side of the theatre.

Ticket services and will call are located in the Vernal Theatre: LIVE lobby. Concessions and restrooms (including accessible restrooms) are located in the lobby.

Vernal Theatre: LIVE has 258 stationary seats and 2 additional spaces for wheelchairs. There is not a standing area.

SOUND SPECS

– access to house sound system via snake cable
– able to connect to iPod, thumb drive, or other device for music playback 
– multiple XLR cables of varying lengths

LIGHTING SPECS
– ten fixed lights on auditorium pipe
– two moving lights on auditorium pipe
– four fixed lights on each side of the stage
– eight LED par cans on first electric
– five LED light bars on second electric
– two follow spotlights operable from light booth

Stage Customization

The stage at Vernal Theatre: LIVE is made up of two rows of individual platforms. Each platform can be set at one of three levels. 
Pictured below we have Level 1 (L), our “riser” setting (C), and Level 2 (R).
The back row of platforms can also be set at Level 3 height which matches the furthest upstage portion of the stage. 

If you would like the stage customized to a specific level for your event, we require notice with submission of your rental deposit and event contract. There is a fee for changing the stage and we may have to decline the customization based on amount of time between events.
